ABOUT

I grew up in Rugby where I first started finding my way around the piano. Since then, after graduating from The University of Southampton, my career has taken me to London, where I’ve spent the last few years navigating the various corners of the industry, joining Good Times, widely regarded as one of the UK’s top Chic tributes, or touring with Ruth Theodore, folk artist with Righteous Babe Records.

At my core, I’m a keyboard player. I’ve always enjoyed the variety that comes with freelance life, whether that’s stepping in as a dep for a band at the last minute or taking on the responsibility of Musical Director to help a project find its sound. For me, it’s about more than just playing the notes, it’s about the sound design, the prep work, and making sure the live set runs exactly as it should.

As well as performing, I work as an educator. Having worked with RockSchool to provide it’s latest syllabus, I know how important music education is, and it’s important to me to share what I’ve learned about the industry with my students, helping them understand what it actually takes to work as a professional musician today.
